How to use PDF to Word well
PDF to Word extracts selectable text from a PDF and places it into an editable DOCX document. It is designed for recovering wording from reports, letters and straightforward layouts when the original Word file is unavailable. The output prioritises editable text; it is not a pixel-perfect reconstruction of the source page.
How to use this tool

Privacy and document handling
Conversion happens on the PDFTools server using locally installed document-processing software. Uploaded files are temporary, outputs expire, and the document is not stored as part of an account library. Avoid uploading material you are not authorised to process. For highly confidential records, consider whether any online service is appropriate for your organisation.
Important limitations
PDF describes where content appears on a page, not how the original Word document was constructed. Fonts, columns, tables, images, headers and exact line breaks may therefore differ. This tool extracts selectable text and attempts to preserve useful spacing; it does not perform OCR. If text cannot be selected in your PDF, run PDF OCR first. Handwriting and complex forms require manual review.
